Today - the Cary Hoard, coins from the civil war (what us detectorists dream of finding, but this one was found on a building site...) It was briefly visiting Cary again, when it's usually in the county museum.

I seem to be having one of those blah-days, even though I have lots of work to get on with, and there's lots of things to look forward to. Next weekend the clocks go forward here, and it will feel more cheerful again. Good morning! Yesterday was a good work day - the document was not only actual proofreading rather than re-writing, it was an archaeology one! Bit of a glumpy day today, in the end, but I did get out for a walk. I did wonder if February should be a Get Out month, but there's rather alot of wetness forecast over the next week or so, still, so we'll see.

The overarching colour of today was grey, but I did find some other colours... Lots of green around.

It was supposed to be dry until mid-afternoon today, and I was going to get a walk in, but when I looked up around eleven it was raining... and then I realised it wasn't quite rain, it was sleet, so I figured I go for a wet theme for the day.
